The VT/NH MG is pleased to announce its plans for this year's annual marketing conference. Celebrating our 22nd year, this conference will be held at The Essex, Vermonts only Culinary Resort and Spa, in Essex, Vermont on June 6-8, 2012. We thank our 2012 Conference sponsors, Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, UPS, NextMark, and Bronto Software.
On June 6th at 3:00 p.m. we will kick things off with our 2nd annual golf tournament sponsored by UPS, followed by an informal networking cocktail reception and barbeque. The fun will then move outdoors, under the stars for roasting of S'mores around the firepit. This not only a fun time, but a great networking opportunity.
Thursday, June 7th will get underway with our opening Keynote Speaker, Alec Newcomb from MyWebGrocer.com as he walks us through how this young company rose to the top while providing leading-edge ecommerce and eMarketing solutions to the grocery and consumer packaged goods industries.
As we break out for more learning, attendees will be able to choose from such sessions as: How to Leverage Social Media in Your Business/or Career, Content for Catalog: Print and Digital, The Changing Face of Search – Making Organic, Paid, and Social Work Together, Data-Based Prospecting 101, and so many more.
When not learning from these top presenters, attendees can wander the Exhibit Hall and talk with shipping companies, printers, software providers and others to learn what is new and how you might just save your company money.
Be sure to save time to view all the items that will be available in our Silent Auction! Each year the items get better and all the monies raised help support our Scholarship Program - allowing budding marketers at Plymouth State College and Lyndon State College the opportunity to continue their studies.
Thursday night we will gather in the resorts Atrium for a slightly more formal cocktail reception and dinner followed by awards and surprise entertainment.
Friday morning as we gather for breakfast, many of our speakers from Thursday will open their tables for some lively roundtable discussions. Bring your questions from the day before and get them answered in a one-on-one setting. ~ Priceless!
We will then gather in the ballroom and hear Jean Giesmann give a creative critique on websites and catalogs. After this, all time favorite Amy Africa will mince no words while informing us of the "21 Things Your Website Must Have".
Before sending people on their way, we invite you to a closing buffet lunch and company tour at Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Essex, VT roasting and packaging facility. Just a quick drive from the conference site (less than 5 minutes), it will be a great way to perk up your senses before hitting the road!
Register by May 10th to receive the early bird discount and Save!
